The story begins with your character awakening after a terrible night, of which he doesn't remember much. Your first objective will be to discover what happened while running small crime jobs for a friend named Joe. Build up your reputation as a bad guy by running or driving through the large city and making as much money as possible by completing different objectives.

The story of the mafia in this city is also interesting: you can vie for position against other criminal masterminds and try to take them down if you wish, or align with the ruling mob and try to get into it.
